Isoline Map




Isoline maps are maps that have lines that connect points on the map of equal value to each other. These maps are intended to be used for purposes of portraying a factor of the weather such as wind speed and direction, pressure, and precipitation as shown above. This map depicts the amount of precipitation in certain geographical areas in inches in the state of Washington during the year of 1996.
